About This Quote

Many people have a tendency to think that they are the ones who control the course of their own lives. That they have a lot of choice in what happens to them. However, this is rarely true. In most cases, life deals us so many cards that we never have a choice about what to do with them.

An example is how you have been born. You could have been born as a king or a pauper, but you were instead born as somebody else. You might have had a choice about how you spend your time, but even if you did, you would still be spending it the way that was best for someone else.

We all end up doing what we are supposed to do even if we might not want to.
